Despite increasingly fierce international competition, Switzerland still features in the top flight of the most attractive business locations. The “Global Competitiveness Report 2009-2010” of the World Economic Forum (WEF), for example, places Switzerland in the top spot of the most competitive nations. Switzerland is therefore an excellent “product” which the federal government, cantons and communes can promote abroad.
